The village is also famous with the thickly red wine and the brandy with herbs bouquet and figs flavour. 13 km away from the plot is the sea town of Kavarna. The town of Kavarna is one of the relatively bigger towns along the Black Sea coast. It is situated 48 km north of Varna and just 12 km away from the picturesque Kaliakra cape. The coast to the north of the town is high and steep, shining with its limestone rocks against the sea while the south of the town boasts an excellent beach.
Kavarna is connected to Varna with a road passing through Balchik. Regular bus transport is complemented by private minibuses and taxis. One can also negotiate low fare sea transport from the town to the nearby town of Balchik, the Kaliakra cape, nearby villages or camping sites with local boat owners. Kavarna, which became famous for the shaking rock concerts, organized at the initiative of the town mayor, is already planning how the resort is to welcome 2007 when Bulgaria is expected to become a EU member. The mayor of the town has already invited famous Swedish band Europe to give a concert on the eve of this key for Bulgaria future year. Superstars from world famous bands have played in Kavarna. Legends John Lawton, former vocalist of Uriah Heep, and Glenn Hughes, ex-bassist of Deep Purple, played in the main square of the beautiful seaside resort on New Years Eve.
2 new Golf Courses near Kavarna, designed by one of the top Golfers in the World - Gary Player have been finalized in March 2006 and are expected to boost the tourism and prices in the whole region.
The town of Balchik, similarly to Kavarna, is also a relatively large settlement along the Northern seaside with a harbor used for medium-sized passenger and commercial vessels. It is situated 31 km north of Varna in a beautiful inlet. Apart from the palace complex and the botanical garden, which is the biggest and most diverse on the Balkans, the town also appeals to tourists with its ancient spirit, reflected into steep pebbled streets and houses made of stone and adobe. The palace complex consists of a central palace with a high tower, numerous buildings, a terraced park, summer houses made of stone and propped up on marvelous columns facing the sea, a throne under an old tree where Queen Maria loved to watch the sunset, and a small chapel where her heart is preserved. There are more than 3,000 rare and exotic species of plants in the botanic garden, which has made it a part of the teaching facilities of Sofia University.
1 km South from the plot is Rusalka: a holiday compound, situated in Taukliman Bay (Birds Bay). The plateau which surrounds it is the only natural steppe to survive to our day in Europe. The picturesquely carved rocky coastline, the small and secluded strips of sand, the ancient oaks and rare plant species have attracted millions of birds and have turned the Bay of Birds into an oasis of nature that has remained untouched for centuries.
Numerous archaeological finds, the oldest dating back 8,000 years, have transformed the coast into a unique archaeological reservation. Antique and medieval fortresses, tombs carved into the rock, caves, sacrificial stones and remains on the bottom of the sea are a major attraction for archaeologists from all over the world.
The asking price is per sq m. A large plot for large plans and developments.
