The railway line passing through Galabovo ,Radnevo and Nova Zagora and Simeonovgrad connects goes to Bourgas and Varna.

Galabovo economy and the region is determined by proximity to natural deposits of coal built and open mines and thermal power plants. In the municipality there are two thermal power plants and is currently building another one. Employment in the region is relatively good level, because of the great capacity of human resources employed in production of coal briquettes and electricity.
